I enjoyed the bread and was delighted to see no preservatives are used commonly found in commercial breads. The tate was worth the extra cost.

My husband and i loveeee sourdough and we just happened to be around the area when we were googling good sourdough nearby. Decided to just drive straight to the location. Called the number and i think “Tim” (sorry if i got the name wrong) answered super quickly. Friendly too! :) We bought two loaves of sourdough. Got home and tried them immediately! Super duper yummy with the perfect crust and crisp, great texture and perfect amount of sourness to it! Will for sure buy again! Excited to try the chocolate one 🤗

***Double-Chocolate Chip Espresso Sourdough Bread***
Heavenly!!! Absolutely delicious!!!!
The bread toasts beautifully…and has that nice “crunchy” sound as you squeeze it, but tender and fluffy on the inside. This is our favorite, local baker….and this husband & wife team are gifted in the art of bread making! You can tell from the appearance of the bread, and the wonderful aroma….they must really enjoy what they do, because everything we’ve ever purchased from them has been hand-crafted and made with loving care. This Double-Chocolate Chip Espresso bread is the perfect balance of flavor….not too sweet, but full of rich, chocolately goodness and depth of flavor. When toasted, I was so happy to see pieces of chocolate chips throughout, and they melt like a dream when you take that first bite! 😄❤️
Other delicious loaves we’ve tried are the Classic Sourdough, the White Chocolate Blueberry, the Lemon Blueberry (both of which make yummy French toast!) and the chocolate chip cookies, made pillowy soft, reminiscent of a decadent scone.
***Pay the extra $2 and have them slice the loaves for you….it’s awesome and convenient! Also, this bread freezes well… I wrap mine in wax paper, then into a freezer bag ….and then I just pop a slice into the toaster oven and it toasts perfectly!
I HIGHLY recommend you try “SourBatch Bakery”…..the bread is always fresh, always delicious and just around the corner! ❤️😄

This is fabulous Sour Dough Bread! Definitely recommend! If you are like me, and like your crust a little more crunchy run the loaf under water for a second and put into the oven at 400 for about 15-20 minutes and it’s perfection. Best sourdough in the Woodlands!

After my goddaughter was baking Sourdough bread at home, I got hooked on it. No other bread tastes better or is healthier. Now that she’s off to College, I just looked online and found Sour Batch Bakery. Bread is delicious. I get it delivered. What more can I ask for? Nothing better than sourdough bread and butter. Highly recommend

Simply the best fresh baked bread in the Woodlands. We've been looking for European style bread in the area for two years and are so happy we found this family owned gem.

We moved from Germany two years ago, and anyone who has lived there knows it’s a country of incredible breads, rolls, and pastries. For us, it was priceless to finally discover, here in the U.S., such high-quality bread with natural ingredients and no unnecessary additives—just pure, authentic flavor. The Original loaf is our absolute favorite.
The only downside? By the time I get to the kitchen, my family has usually eaten the whole loaf within half an hour… if I’m lucky, I might get a single slice!

So excited to finally get more Sour Batch bread!! They first came and sold in my neighborhood several months ago and I’ve been wanting to get my hands on more ever since. Both the original and the jalapeño cheddar are amazing. The bread is perfectly cooked and so soft, freezes well too! Also the cookies are delicious!! Worth the 30 min drive.

My new favorite local sourdough place! It’s always crispy on the outside and soft in the inside with a good sour fermentation flavor that’s balanced just right. I normally buy the original, but I also tried the double chocolate chip espresso loaf in the picture, and it was just as good! It’s not too sweet and definitely great toasted with butter.
It’s very heartwarming to know these loaves were made by a local family, you can definitely taste the love and passion.
